I have received training through the Doula Skills Program offered by the Holistic Midwifery Institute of Ann Arbor, Michigan. This program provided knowledge and an understanding of the natural process of birth and how to provide assistance including:

Massage
Knowledge of common procedures related to birth
Herbal and Homeopathic information
Beneficial Labor Positions
Breastfeeding support and information

This service is available for the fee of $500. A sliding scale is available where applicable.
